The project developed by Gamma Innovation focuses on the selection and training of young ICT talents to take on the role of PLM Solution Consultant within teams already operating in the client’s Digital Service Factory. The initiative combines STEM graduate recruitment with targeted training programs, preparing the resources to integrate effectively into company projects and develop specialized skills in the PLM sector.

Approach and methodology

The project involved a structured selection and training program for young talents destined to take on the role of PLM Solution Consultant within the client’s Digital Service Factory. The search focused on recent master’s and bachelor’s graduates in STEM fields, selecting profiles with strong motivation, an aptitude for the ICT sector, and willingness to be mobile to follow the various company projects.Once identified, the candidates were enrolled in a targeted training program aimed at developing specific technical skills in PLM and transversal abilities useful for working in complex, multidisciplinary teams. The program included both practical and theoretical aspects, preparing the resources to integrate effectively into projects, contribute autonomously, and support the client’s operational needs. Thanks to this approach, the project combined targeted selection, specialized training, and mentoring, creating a group of young professionals ready to meet the company’s strategic requirements.

We took action to identify and train resources as PLM Solution Consultants. The search was focused on young recent graduates, both master’s and bachelor’s, in STEM fields with a very strong motivation and an aptitude for the ICT sector, as well as willingness to be mobile and follow the ‘geography’ of the projects.
